Love Junkie – The Performance Piece

A dramatic retelling of Rachel Resnick’s bestselling book, Love Junkie. The piece was performed by three local actors and was held at a Frank Pictures Art Gallery at Bergamot Station. The evening was a huge success and Rachel is working with the Geffen Playhouse on expanding the piece into a one woman show to premiere in several venues in Los Angeles.

Three Arts – The Performance Piece

An evening of creative arts at their finest – from storytelling, painting, and music to deliciously inspired food and drinks by S&S Bakery, Trader Joes and other local vendors – all presented at one of the most secret, fantastical hideouts in Los Angeles – Mi Alma Designs.

In this unique performance piece, author Carolyn Cohagan read from her captivating new fantasy novel The Lost Children on stage as painter Crystal Romero captured the action in real time on a large canvas that was projected on a 12 foot-high screen. Musician Aaron Robinson provided the heartbeat of the story, playing an original soundtrack on acoustic guitar.

Romance & Reality

An evening of literary & gourmet treats at Fancifull Gift Baskets in Hollywood, featuring bestselling romance authors Jessica Barksdale Inclan and Syrie James and dating experts Julie Spira and Sascha Rothchild in an exciting exploration of the secrets, fantasies and realities of romance. To sweeten the selection of stimulating reads by the authors, the knowledgeable staff at Fancifull Gift Baskets provided an offering of fine wines, scrumptious chocolates, and other gourmet treats.

Begin Again

A mixed arts gala extravaganza, sponsored by the Los Angeles Art Association and Summerwood Winery, featuring bestselling author Elizabeth Rosner and emerging artists Ryan McCann, Denise Niziri, and Sage Gracie in an exciting mixed media adventure of Mixed Media Pyrography, 3-D Household Art, and Literary Fiction to celebrate inspiration and the creative process.

Literary Vaudeville “Jews You Might Not Want to Invite to Passover”
